Energy Medicine for Everyday Life

Our daily lives are filled with so many things, and many of us struggle to maintain a balance and move through the day in a focused, connected, and peaceful way. At the end of the day, many of us collapse onto the couch, feeling worn out and frazzled. The key to harnessing our potential and moving through our days in a purposeful, aligned way can be found in mastering our mindset and taking back control of our own thoughts and beliefs. Stefanie Bruns, Quantum Psychologist, holistic business mentor, energy healer, and founder of BusinessFlowAcademy, understands that utilizing micro tools of energy medicine daily can completely transform your life.

“We all have a mindset, problems, and belief systems that determine how we navigate our daily lives,” says Bruns. “We have thousands of thoughts every day and we all feel shame and guilt. Additionally, we are not only affected by our own internal experience, we are also affected by the experiences of those around us and the collective as a whole. To move forward and avoid drowning in our own self-made hell, we need an energetic approach designed to lift our energy so we attract more of the good stuff and less of the bad.”

Small actions you commit to doing daily can make a huge difference in how you experience your day. The best part is that you can do micro-energy techniques quickly and wherever you are, be it as you wake up, in your car, watching your kids, take swimming lessons, at the office, etc.

Four Ways to Support Yourself to Have a Great Day, Every Day

Tapping

Tapping is the practice of using your fingers to lightly tap on specific meridian (energy) points on your body whilst simultaneously talking yourself through a thought or belief. The thymus, a small butterfly-shaped gland in the center of your chest, is an ideal place to begin tapping. “You can lightly tap your fingertips on your thymus and, as an example, say out loud or in your head, ‘Even though I don’t know how to release all the guilt I feel whilst I work and sit my kids in front of the TV, what I do know is that I choose to release it.’ You then take a deep breath in and release it with an audible ‘AAAAAAAAA’ sound,” explains Bruns. “Another example is, ‘Even though I don’t know how to stop doing this behavior that I am not aligned with, I do know that I am working on it and releasing it.’ The thymus brings you into an energetically stable position. It is also the center of your self-worth. Doing this practice allows you to become immediately unstuck from the position you find yourself in. Tapping offers a state of acceptance and to program a new state.”

Reframing Your Thoughts

When experiencing a difficult situation, we often get stuck in negative thought loops, asking ourselves questions like Why does this always happen to me? and Why is this person doing this to me? “The people who trigger you the most are your master teachers on a soul level. Learn from them. On a human level, this can be really difficult to understand. Healing doesn’t mean that the suffering doesn’t take place, it means that it won’t affect us anymore,” explains Bruns. The moment you become aware that you are dwelling on an unhelpful thought, you can choose to interrupt this by tapping to release it and then choosing a more helpful viewpoint. “Discover what the lesson is to learn in that situation. This exploration releases the energetic bonds, shifts the process, and allows you to see possibilities instead of problems.”

What’s Working?

Start recognizing the things that are working in your life rather than those that aren’t. “Get a journal and only use it for appreciation. You can even upgrade it to gratitude if you like! We have to reprogram our brain neuro-energetically to focus on things that are working if we want to shift into a higher state,” says Bruns.

Affirmations

Bruns explains, “Affirmations always work better with a question rather than a statement. Instead of I am so positive it becomes Why am I always so full of positivity? In this way, the brain gets activated and starts creating new pathways, new patterns.

These simple yet powerful techniques can help us remain balanced and live happier, healthier lives. Energy medicine for everyday life is not difficult to learn and can be used to bring about positive changes in our lives. With practice and dedication, we can start to see the results of our efforts and create a truly fulfilling life.
